Summary
Baclofen is an anti-spasmodic agent used to treat a variety of muscle spasms or contractile disorders including cramps, and dystonias, as well as the muscle spasticity caused by multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injury. Its exact mechanism of action is unclear, but is thought to be related to agonism at GABA receptors in the spinal cord.
